Episode 11:
“Zero Waste is the conservation of all resources by means of responsible production, consumption, reuse and recovery of products, packaging and materials without burning, and with no discharges to land, water, or air that threaten the environment or human health”, definition of Zero Waste as adopted by the Zero Waste International Alliance.
Our planet is suffering from the climate crisis. Nothing is more important than starting to live a more sustainable life.
This eleventh episode is entirely dedicated to sustainability and the “zero waste” or “low waste” movement. Everything we do, everything we consume, has an impact on the environment and natural resources. And just because we don’t see it, it doesn’t mean that it’s not there.
We must start making more conscious decisions: is recycling enough to solve the problem? What if instead of consuming non-stop we start refusing to buy what we don’t really need? And how about reusing something we already own instead of buying it brand new?
Turn up the volume and dive into the world of sustainability together with our guests for today, Silvana, Rute and Tania, three environmental activists who will explain us how to live in respect of nature.
