Ένα δίπολο που όμως, μοιάζει ανίκανο να εκφράσει την ποικιλομορφία της έμφυλης ταυτότητας. Η σημερινή μέρα, 8η Μαρτίου, ανήκει σε όλες τις γυναίκες· σε αυτές που γεννήθηκαν και καταχωρήθηκαν με το φύλο “θήλυ” και σε αυτές που γεννήθηκαν και καταχωρήθηκαν με το φύλο “άρρεν”, χωρίς όμως ποτέ να νιώσουν ότι ανήκουν σε αυτό. Αυτή η μέρα ανήκει σε όλες όσες αισθάνονται γυναίκες! Γιατί αυτό που μετράει δεν είναι το φύλο της ταυτότητας, αλλά το φύλο της ψυχής.

Woman or man? Man or woman? A dipole inextricably linked to the human condition. A dipole that, however, seems incapable of expressing the diversity of gender identity. Today, March 8th, belongs to all women; to those who were born and registered with the gender “female” and to those who were born and registered with the gender “male”, but without ever feeling that they belong to it. This day belongs to all those who feel like women! Because what counts is not the gender of the identity, but the gender of the soul.
