My tips for you

  • Read the book “Letters to a Young Poet” by Rainer Maria Rilke, it is concise and could change your whole perception of yourself, your relationship to creativity. It is one of the most inspiring books I’ve ever read in my life. PDF in English for free (available in other languages). Click here.

  • Connecting with nature increases your creativity! Wherever you live, if you own a garden or not, it’s the best moment to learn how to grow aromatic plants and vegetables. We, more than ever, need to go back to the basics and be more independent. Here you can watch an easy way to regrow the vegetables you bought in the supermarket.

  • Meditation and yoga are excellent tools to get in contact with your creative power as well. If you are a beginner like me, you can find helpful guided meditation podcast on Spotify. Open me! A yoga tip. I highly recommend you « Yoga with Adrienne » on Youtube.

  • Write the thoughts and feelings popping up in your mind during these strange historical days. It will release your anxiety. Introspection is an integral part of the process to generate ideas. If you are not used to it, you can have a look here, at this beautiful website dedicated to poetry.

  • Challenge yourself! Try to make a 2-3 minutes tutorial/short film with your smartphone or camera. You can do it alone or develop your team spirit if you live with people. It is the best moment to share knowledge, skills, and create stories! The volunteers of Balkan Hotspot created a fantastic online manual about video making. You can find it here.

  • Last but not least, I’m giving you one of my favourite websites to watch artistic short films, hope it will inspire you. Here you are.
