We live in a highly digital age. For many people, large parts of their lives take place on the internet. Still, a lot of our lives also take place in physical space. The internet gives new opportunities to explore this physical space. Queering the Map is an online initiative that does just that: it maps the experiences and stories of LGBTQ+ people.
On the 7th of February, the Safer Internet Day aims to promote a safer and better use of the internet for the youth of the world. A number of people from around the world were asked whether they think we need a safer internet. This is a question down to interpretation and the answers vary but the majority points out that more could be done.
