This video was created by a volunteer at Balkan Hotspot, a media lab based in Thessaloniki. The aim of the project is to develop content related with journalism, specially in matters such as environment, human rights and social inclusion, that are both connected with the local community and their home countries.
Our volunteers collaborated with an organization called Thermaikos Guif and cleaned a beautiful area near Axios Delta – A village near Thessaloniki.
Balkan Hotspot is run only by volunteers, and it works under United Societies of Balkans, a youth non governmental organization, based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Its goals are to promote Human Rights and fight stereotypes, bring Balkans and Europe together, assist in the cultural exchange between Balkan countries and enhance youth mobility and education.
